BASF Begins production
at Amino Resins Plant
BASF has begun production of high quality, low-formaldehyde, amino resins for the North American coatings market at its new Wyandotte, MI manufacturing plant. This production unit provides BASF with significant initial capacity in the U.S. Sold under the Luwipal name, the amino resins from this new facility complement the current product portfolio offered by BASF’s performance chemicals group, which offers a wide variety of colorants, resins and additives to the coatings industry.
